This is our workhorse GPC system running 24 hours per day. The walk-on nature of the instrument means people can use it for simple molecular weight characterization of their polymers, or even insert samples into the queue to monitor synthesis reaction kinetics. The system is equipped with a 87-place Midas autosampler allowing for unattended operation. Solvent is recycled into a THF still. As with all GPC systems in the facility data collection is via the Polymer Laboratories Cirrus software suite. Calibration is available against PS and PMMA standards.
