The Beckman XL-I system

This
system is equipped with a 4-cell rotor (An60Ti) capable of speeds up to
60,000 rpm, enabling separation of a wide range of molecular weights.
The instrument can perform automated sedimentation velocity and
sedimentation equilibrium experiments. Concentration detection is by
interference optics (sample vs. solvent blank reference cell) or by UV/Vis absorbance.
